Description
Cowhorns are designed for the pressure testing of gas pipelines in accordance with UK Gas Industry Standard GIS/PL2 (GIS/TE/P6.3:2007). The pressurising is quick and safely controlled due to a ludecke-type coupling, diaphragm valve, pressure gauge and pressure relief valve.
The cowhorn standpipe is available in 3 different, colour-coded pressures. CIG can supply each of these with or without the optional base, common to all three types.
